Damon Brown - Director of Student Activities & Involvement

About Damon
Responsible for daily operation of the Office of Student Activities & Involvement. He oversees all campus programming, including CMU Program Board and all SAI marketing efforts.

Damon has been at CMU since 1997. Prior to coming to Student Life in fall of 2006, he worked in University Recreation as the Coordinator of Intramural & Club Sports. He was responsible for coordinating a comprehensive Intramural Sports program that featured over 30 individual, dual & team intramural sports and over 25 club sports.

Damon received his M.A. in Sports Administration from Central Michigan University. He earned a B.A. in Business Management & B.S. in Sports Sciences from Ohio University.

Danielle Rossman - Assistant Director for Student Organizations

About Danielle
Dani is responsible for assisting and supporting the over 300 student organization on CMU's campus. She also provides support for OrgSync.

Dani has been with Student Activities & Involvement since September of 2012. Dani received her Masters in Higher Education Administration at CMU. She is currently pursing a Ph.D. in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education. She graduated in with her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from CMU.

Jordan J Borchert - Assistant Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life

About Jordan
Jordan (He/Him/His) is responsible for assisting and supporting the 33 Fraternities and Sororities on CMU's campus. He also coordinates all educational programming and events for the Fraternity and Sorority Life community.

Jordan has been with Student Activities & Involvement since August 2016. Jordan received his Masters in Higher Education in Student Affairs at Northern Michigan University. He graduated in May 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration at Central Michigan University.

About Jeanette
Jeanette has been with CMU since 1999 in the Office of Minority Student Services.

She has been in the Office of Student Activities & Involvement since 2010, as the Office Professional.

Jeanette oversees our student support staff as well as the administrative functions of the office. Jeanette lives in Alma with her husband; has two grown children and two grand daughters also in the area.

About Mariah
I am coming to Central Michigan University from California where I was born and raised. I completed my undergraduate degree at California State University, Chico where I received a Bachelors in Healthcare Administration and a minor in Health and Wellness.

I am excited for this upcoming adventure at CMU where I will be working with CMU's Program Board! I am looking forward to meeting you! Please feel free to stop by for a piece of candy, a chat, a cheesy joke, or to just say hi! My office can be found at Bovee University Center room 104M!

Stephanie D Hare - Graduate Assistant for Student Activities

About Stephanie
Stephanie is a Graduate Assistant working under Student Activities. Stephanie is serving as lead for campus events including but not limited to Parking Lot Party, Homecoming, SAI On The Road, and Up All Night. She also oversees the Homecoming Committee. She's looking forward to meeting, working, and interacting with the students and faculty on campus.

Stephanie received her BA in Professional Communication from The University of Michigan-Flint prior to attending CMU. Stephanie served on the executive board for Campus Activities Board and Student Government as well as being faithfully active in Alternative Spring Break during her undergraduate career.

Stephanie is currently working towards her Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration.

Donielle L Hetrick - Graduate Assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Life

About Donielle
Donielle is one of the Graduate Assistants for Fraternity and Sorority Life. She is responsible for advising the Panhellenic Council and Rho Lambda, the National Sorority Leadership Recognition Society.

Donielle earned her B.A. in Sociology from Northern Michigan University where she was very active in Greek Life. She held various leadership positions in her sorority including President, Vice President and Secretary. She also served a term as Vice President of NMU’s Greek Council. She is currently working towards her Masters of Public Administration here at CMU.

About Charles
Charles is the Graduate Assistant that works with the Peer Involvement Advisor program as well as the Impact program.

Charles did his undergraduate work at Central Michigan University during which time he served as the Student Body President for two terms, a multicultural advisor, and a resident assistant amongst other involvements. He earned his B.A.A. in Political Science and Communication.

Charles is currently working towards his Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration.

Peter Prach - Graduate Assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Life

About Peter
Peter is responsible for advising the Interfraternity Governing Council (IFC) and the Order of Omega chapter. He is responsible for assisting in programs including Hazing Prevention Week, IFC recruitment, GEM Academy, and many more.

Peter attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a BA in Enterprise Leadership and received a Human Resources and Project Management Certificate. He has spent all 4 years in Fraternity & Sorority Life. He served as Chapter President for 2 years, Interim Vice President, Treasurer, and New Member Educator. He also spent 1 year on the Executive Board for IFC.

Peter is currently working towards his Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration.


Shantia Reese - Graduate Assistant for Student Activities

About Shantia
Shantia is a Graduate Assistant working with Fraternity and Sorority Life. She is responsible for advising National Pan-hellenic Council which is a collaborative organization of the nine historically African American fraternities and sororities.

Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis in May of 2015. Currently pursuing a Masters in Higher Education Administration at Central Michigan University.

About Maricella
Maricella Reyes is a Graduate Assistant for the Office of Student Activities & Involvement. She began her SAI career as a Program Assistant Intern. As a Graduate Assistant, she has continued her work with IMPACT, UC TV Staff, Study Fest and Sibling's Weekend. 

Maricella graduated with her B.A. in Applied Arts in 2016 at Central Michigan University, majoring in Recreation and Event Management. She is currently working on her Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration.


Rhiki Swinton - Graduate Assistant for Student Organizations

About Rhiki
Rhiki is a Graduate Assistant responsible for assisting and supporting over 300 student organizations on CMU's campus. She helps with the programming for SAI, including S.O.L.D series and Peer Involvement Advisors program as well as assisting with other with other SAI campus programs and events, including Get Organized, SAI Student Leadership Retreat, and MainStage.

Prior to coming to CMU, Rhiki was an admissions counselor at Albion College. She worked closely with many first-generation, low-income, intercity Chicago students to help them see college as a viable option and investment in their future. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Human Services from Albion College.

Rhiki is currently working towards a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration.
