I am coming to Central Michigan University from California where I was born and raised. I completed my undergraduate degree at California State University, Chico where I received a Bachelors in Healthcare Administration and a minor in Health and Wellness.

I am excited for this upcoming adventure at CMU where I will be working with CMU's Program Board! I am looking forward to meeting you! Please feel free to stop by for a piece of candy, a chat, a cheesy joke, or to just say hi! My office can be found at Bovee University Center room 104M!

Damon Brown - Advisor 
About Damon
Responsible for daily operation of the Office of Student Activities & Involvement. He oversees all campus programming, including CMU Program Board and all SAI marketing efforts.

Damon has been at CMU since 1997. Prior to coming to Student Life in fall of 2006, he worked in University Recreation as the Coordinator of Intramural & Club Sports. He was responsible for coordinating a comprehensive Intramural Sports program that featured over 30 individual, dual & team intramural sports and over 25 club sports.

Damon received his M.A. in Sports Administration from Central Michigan University. He earned a B.A. in Business Management & B.S. in Sports Sciences from Ohio University.

Hi! My name is Madison Mariles. I am a junior studying Integrative Public Relations with minors in Event Management and Leadership. I have been involved with the Office of Student Activities and Involvement for the last two years. I currently serve as the Comedy Director for CMU Program Board and the Administrative Co-Chair for Sibling's Weekend 2019. Previously, I have served on the 2018 Up All Night committee, as well as the 2018 Homecoming Committee. I am also involved in the Sarah R. Opperman Leadership Institute as a Leader Advancement Scholar, as well as the co-chair for the annual Lead On Ice event.

I am passionate about creating and promoting events that are entertaining and inclusive to a diverse group of individuals. I am open to feedback and ideas for potential events for campus. Get ready for a fun year!

Markie Heideman is a senior at Central Michigan University pursuing a Bachelors of Applied Arts in Communication and Journalism. During his time at CMU, Markie has served on a number of committees through the Office of Student Activities and Involvement including Homecoming, Sibling's Weekend, Up All Night, and Program Board. In addition, he serves as a Public Relations intern in the Office of LGBTQ Services, an Office Assistant/Digital Media Coordinator in the Sarah R. Opperman Leadership Institute, and an academic orientation mentor. Markie is passionate about inclusionary leadership, promotional and digital marketing, and creating welcoming spaces.
